Some of the newer compressions for audio files such as AAC, or MPEG-4 audio,
are much more efficient than older formats like MP3, and often have higher quality sound.
The problem is that these AAC files cannot be archived on audio or data CD because of compatibility issues. This is scary because if your hard drive were to crash, you may lose all the AAC files you've purchased online!
Luckily, this simple little conversion tool will allow you to convert AAC files to the more versatile and useable file type, AIFF.
